Privacy policy
How this website collects, uses and protects your information.
This site is built and run by volunteers — fellow ISACA Orange County members who give their own time to it. We ask for the least we need to serve you well: enough to verify your membership, sign you in, get you into events and track your CPE. Nothing more.
We will never sell your information, rent it or trade it — not to sponsors, not to vendors, not to anyone. Sponsors reach you through us, never with your details in their hands.
This policy covers the isacaoc.com website. Your ISACA global membership is governed separately by ISACA's own policy, linked below. The board reviews this page every year, and we'll say so here when anything changes.

What we collect
- Account & identity. When you create an account, our sign-in provider collects your name and email address to authenticate you.
- Profile details you add. Anything you enter in your profile — ISACA member number, employer, job title, city, LinkedIn and the credentials you hold.
- Messages. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email, phone number and message.
- Events & CPE. Registration and check-in details from our events platform, used to award and track the CPE credits you earn at chapter events.
- Directory (opt-in). Only if you turn it on, your name, credentials, ISACA and chapter status, chapter journey and LinkedIn appear on the public member directory.
How we use it
- Run the chapter site. Sign you in and power your dashboard.
- Verify membership. Match your ISACA member number against the chapter roster to confirm chapter membership.
- Track CPE. Record the CPE you earn at chapter events.
- Stay in touch. Respond to your messages and send transactional emails from notifications@isacaoc.com.
- Plan better. Use self-reported city — in aggregate only — to hold events near where members are.
What we never do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't make private data public. Your email, city, employer and member number are never shown publicly — the directory only shows what you choose to share.
Service providers
We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Authentication. A secure sign-in and account-management service.
- Database & hosting. Cloud services that store chapter data and host the site, with privacy-friendly analytics that don't use tracking cookies.
- Email. A delivery service for the messages described above.
- Events. An events and registration platform.
- Payments. A payment processor that handles sponsorship payments.
Your choices
- Edit or remove. Update or clear your profile details anytime from your dashboard.
- Leave the directory. Turn off directory sharing in your profile whenever you like.
- Access or delete. Email contact@isacaoc.com to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account.
ISACA global membership
This policy applies to the chapter website only. Your ISACA membership, certifications and the data ISACA holds are governed by ISACA's own privacy policy at isaca.org/privacy.
