  • Active chapter members can now sign in and read the working draft of the bylaws—clearly watermarked—while it's with the board, since it's the membership that votes it in
  • Every line of the bylaws carries a number you can cite, and drafts wear a watermark on every page

  • The chapter bylaws are now linked from the footer of every page—no more hunting through your dashboard to find them

Who can serve, in writing

  • Every chapter role now states its eligibility right on the card—including the Chapter Governor seats for past presidents, listed for the first time
  • Board candidates and Governors now require a background check; volunteer roles stay open to any verified member, no checks, no prior service

Chapter and verse

  • The bylaws now read like a legal document—a running line number sits in the margin of every clause, and each number is a link that highlights its line, so citing line 214 lands everyone on the same words

  • The contact form now blocks automated spam silently—no CAPTCHA, no hoops, real messages just go through
  • We ask for a phone number with your message so a volunteer can reach you the quickest way

The rules, written down

  • The chapter policy library is here—conduct, expenses, payments, data, security, communications and more, each one initialed and sealed by every leader
  • Attendance standing now shows the bylaws requirement in full, what the chapter held and when, and exactly where you stand against it

Policies, on the record

  • Chapter policies now live in one place—leaders initial each one, and the accepted copy is kept beside their Willingness to Serve and Conflict of Interest forms
  • Policies are versioned: when the board revises one, everyone is asked to initial the new wording and the old copy stays on record

Links worth sharing

  • Profile links now read as names—share /directory#jane-doe instead of a wall of characters

  • Applying for a volunteer role no longer asks for leadership agreements—any verified chapter member can jump in and apply

Headshots that just work

  • Uploading your headshot is more forgiving now—larger photos are handled automatically, with a clear heads-up if a format (like an iPhone HEIC) needs converting
  • Tidied up the member cards so your ISACA tenure reads cleanly

Truer timelines

  • Your journey now dates your membership from when you actually joined ISACA—straight from ISACA Global—not when you created your website account
  • When the board promotes someone to a leadership or board role, they now appear on the Board & Leadership page automatically

Sharper member cards

  • Member directory and board cards got a cleaner look—your ISACA tenure up front, a LinkedIn-style total of your chapter service and tidier credential badges
  • On Chapter Roles, if you can't apply yet we now say exactly why—and give you a quick way to flag it if you think your membership should already be verified

For the long-timers

  • Add the year you joined ISACA and the year you first showed up to an OC event—we'll prefill what we can from ISACA
  • Long-standing members earn recognition pins, and our chapter OGs get a gold star on their directory card
